Metabolic Cage Study in Pgam5 KO Mice

Description PGAM5 is a mitochondrial phosphatase and may have a role in energy metabolism.
Pgam5 knock-out mice exhibit hyperactivity compared to their wild type
counterparts.

This follow-up study is approved for the Metabolism Core of UMass MMPC and will
involve 12 Pgam5 KO mice for body composition and metabolic cage study at
baseline and after chronic HFD. This study will be led by Dr. Hye-Lim Noh and
Dr. Hee Joon Kang.
