Metabolic Clamp Study to Assess Insulin Sensitivity in Liver-Rgs4 KO Mice

Description We have identified RGS4 as a novel target of insulin signaling and regulator of
metabolism in liver. Characterizing the effects of RGS4 deletion in liver under
normal conditions and under conditions of metabolic stress (high fat diet
feeding) will help determine if RGS4 is a potential target for the development
of new therapeutic strategies to treat metabolic syndrome including type 2
diabetes.
