Description Our preliminary investigations using Alb-Cre-Rgs4f/f mice suggest a potential
novel function of hepatic RGS4 in promoting insulin sensitivity under conditions
of metabolic stress such as high fat diet feeding. These studies predict that
modulation of RGS4 activity could be a novel therapeutic strategy for treatment
of insulin resistance and diabetes.
