Metabolic Study to Assess Energy Balance and Insulin Sensitivity in HFD fed
Lyz-RAGE KO Mice
Summary Data Summary
Investigator Schmidt, Ann Marie
Description to determine the effects of myeloid specific RAGE deletion on metabolism and
obesity

Myeloid deleted RAGE mice are more obese and insulin resistant after 12 weeks of
high fat diet feeding (Research Diet D12492) than the RAGE flox/flox (cre
negative) control mice. Cre control (no RAGE flox) mice are more obese than RAGE
flox/flox but less obese than myeloid deleted RAGE mice.
