Experiment

Metabolic measurements in young vs old B6 mice fed high fat diet
Summary Data Summary
Investigator Peterfy, Miklos
Description The objective of the experiment is to determine the effect of aging on plasma
adiponectin levels in mice matched for body weight and adiposity on a high-fat
diet. Young (5-7 months of age) and old (26-29 months of age) were put on a
high-fat diet for 10 weeks. Mice had adlib access to food and water during the
study. Adlib fed mice were bled through retro-orbital bleeding under isoflurane
anesthesia and EDTA-plasma was used for analysis.
