Experiment

Metabolic Clamp Study in Liver-Specific Insulin Receptor KO Mice
Summary Data Summary
Investigator Davis, Roger J.
Description This experiment will help clarify the role of insulin receptor in hepatocytes
under high fat diet challenge.  The results of this study will further our
understanding of insulin resistance, hepatic steatosis and diabetes.

Mice lacking hepatic expression of Insr do not gain as much weight when fed a
high-fat diet compared to control mice.
