Experiment

Circulating adiponectin levels in B6 mice treated with letrozole
Summary Data Summary
Investigator Thackray, Varykina
Description Letrozole treatment of pubertal female mice results in hallmarks of PCOS
including elevated androgens, anovulation, polycystic ovaries and a metabolic
phenotype.

Pubertal (4 week old) female mice were implanted with a placebo or letrozole
pellet (50 ug/day) and treated for 5 weeks. Mice had ad lib access to food and
water. Mice were sacrificed with isoflurance and blood was collected via the
vena cava and spun down to collect serum.
