Experiment

Circulating insulin levels following glucose gavage in B6 mice treated with
letrozole
Summary Data Summary
Investigator Thackray, Varykina
Description To determine the difference in insulin response from the incretin effect. Each
wild-type mouse was given glucose at a dosage of 2 g/kg body weight in sterile
saline via oral gavage. Blood samples were taken at time 0 (before dosage), 15
mins, and 30 mins. Puberal (4 week old) female mice were implanted with a
placebo or letrozole pellet (50 ug/day) and treated for 4 weeks.
