Experiment

Effect of birth mode on gut permeability in male and female offspring
Summary Data Summary
Investigator Dominguez-Bello, Maria Gloria
Description This study holds value in understanding the effects of birth mode (vaginal or
C-section delivery) on gut physiology. Swiss-Webster mice were born either
vaginally or by Cesarean section. Both groups were maintained on standard
laboratory chow and gut permeability was evaluated at 7-8 weeks postnatal.
