Experiment

Effect of antibiotics on LBP levels in graft vs host disease mouse model post
-hematopoietic stem cell transplant fed low fat and high fat diets
Summary Data Summary
Investigator Murphy, William
Description 2 cohorts of female BALB/c mice were fed either 10% LFD (D12450J) or 60% HFD
(D12492) for 6 months. Animals on the high fat diet were divided into 2 groups :
control(water) or antibiotic- treated (Vancomycin, ampicillin, neomycin provided
in drinking water for 14 days). All animals were irradiated (GVHD model) and
then treated with B10.D2 8x10^6 bone marrow cells + B10.D2 25x10^6 splenocytes .
Mice were euthanized and plasma was taken for LPS measurement (n=4 /group).
