Description This gene knockout disrupts the endogenous production of itaconate, a TCA cycle
metabolite that has robust antiinflammatory properties. This knockout will allow
us to determine the role of itaconate during metabolic disease. MIce were body
comped, put into indirect calorimetry cages for 3 days, and then body comped
out.
