Experiment

HFD effect on energy expenditure in LETMD mice.
Summary Data Summary
Investigator Yoon, John
Description This study will determine whether 12 weeks on a high fat diet (HFD) alters
LETMD1 KO energy expenditure. WT and LETMD mice will be placed on a control or
HFD for 12 weeks prior to undergoing indirect calorimetry. Animals will be fed
HFD at investigators vivarium for 11 weeks and the last ~ week at MBP during
acclimation. Mice will undergo baseline calorimetryfollowed by Echo-MRI to
assess body composition.
