Description These animals lack the alpha and delta isoforms of scaffold protein SH2B1. These
isoforms may be important for neuronal circuits involved in feeding behavior and
obesity and type 2 diabetes. Mice were subjected to body composition measuring
body mass, lean, fat, and fluid of each mouse before being put into metabolic
cages for indirect calorimetry testing for several days.
