2021-03-29 Jun Wu - Heejin 14 Mice CLAMS Run
Summary Data Summary
Investigator Wu, Jun
Description Acetylcholine secreted from macrophages can activate beige adipocytes and induce
energy expenditure. We crossed ChAT fl/fl mice with LysMCre mice to delete ChAT
specifically in macrophages. We will test the effects of acetylcholine-producing
macrophages in whole-body energy metabolism. Mice were given a body composition
before and after the CLAMS run. Mice spent the 2 days at 22C, the following day
at 4C, the next day at 10C, and the final day at 4C. They were dosed on
formoterol 1mg/kg (0.1uL/uL) on 3/31/21. Lab dissected animals at the end of the
study.
