Experiment

Sable Energy Balance #21752 1/18/16
Summary Data Summary
Investigator Biaggioni, Italo
Description Energy expenditure measured by indirect calorimetry in the Promethion by Sable
Systems. Activity, food intake and water intake are also continuously measured.
Measurements were taken for 5 consecutive days.
Running wheels were not present in the cage.
Mice were fed ad libitum.
Water: regular tap water, ad libitum.

Groups:
Male WT (C57BL/BJ) mice.
Mice were fed BioServ F3282.
Mice were treated with Saline or Angiotensin.

Purpose of the experiment: This experiment will determine whether the groups of
mice have different energy expenditure and feeding behaviors.

Applicable Research Areas: Metabolism , Body weight regulation, energy
expenditure, feeding behavior.
