Experiment

Glucose Tolerance Test #21820 10/19/15
Summary Data Summary
Investigator Crofford, Leslie
Description A Glucose Tolerance Test was done. Mice were given a dose of 20% dextrose based
on their lean mass. The dextrose was given either by IP injection or by gavage.
Glucose readings and insulin were taken before and after the dextrose was given.

Groups:
Male and Female WT(C57BL/6J ) and KO (C57BL/6-Ptgestm1Lpa) mice.
Mice were fed a Low Fat Diet (Research Diet - D12450J) or a High Fat Diet
(Research Diets - D12492).

Purpose of the experiment: The experiment will determine whether the groups of
mice have different glucose tolerance.

Applicable Research Areas: Metabolism.
