Experiment

Ucp2 KO hypoxia CLAMS
Summary Data Summary
Investigator Lee, Patty
Description Ucp2 KO mice represent mice wiht globla knock out for uncoupling protein 2 that
dissepates proton gradient in mitochondria. It has been shown that Ucp2
participates in ROS removel. Certain genetic variants of the Ucp2 gene were
linked to the predisposition to obesity and metabolic syndrom in humans.
