Experiment

Assessment of RyR1 mutant mouse activity
Summary Data Summary
Investigator Pessah, Isaac
Description Mutations in Either type 1 receptor (RyR1) or the dihydropyridine receptors
subunit Cav1.1 cause malignant hyperthermia susceptibility (MHS) in humans and
animals. It is necessary to understand how altered RyR1 channel
regulation influences activity at standard vivarium temperatures (22C)and closer
to thermal neutral zone temperatures (26, 28, and 30C). Animal number 653 was
exuded after the standard vivarium temperature test as it as found to be
pregnant.
