Experiment

Hyperinsulinemic Hyperglycemic clamp order #22096 March 2017
Summary Data Summary
Investigator Chen, Shuai
Description Previous studies with culture cells have suggested that RalGAP complex is
important for glucose homeostasis. However, its in vivo function has not been
studied so far. These two mouse models are the first two models for studying the
in vivo function of this RalGAP complex. Elucidation of its role in glucose
homeostasis will help to understand its relationship with the pathogenesis of
type 2 diabetes.

RalGAPalpha1 is affected in GARNL-KI mice, and RalGAPbeta is affected in
RalGAPbeta KO mice.
