Experiment

Liver lipid levels in Nefh-PRR KO mice fed HFD
Summary Data Summary
Investigator Feng, Yumei
Description This strain models neuronal knockdown of the prorenin receptor in the mouse. 3
month old Mice were fed HFD/NFD for 16 weeks with ad libitum access to food and
water. Mice were sacced with isofluorane and CD and tissues were removed and
fresh frozen. The project seeks to understand the effect of neuron-specific
deletion of secreted prorenin in the brain on the progression of metabolic
syndrome, in this case the development of NAFLD.
