Experiment

HbA1c levels in B6 mice treated with streptozotocin
Summary Data Summary
Investigator Feldman, Eva
Description Experiment details: Recently our laboratory have had difficulty finding a
reliable way to measure % HbA1c using mouse blood. For many years we used to run
a manual boronate affinity column fractionation with mini-columns from Helena
labaroatories unfortunately the discuontinued this product. We switched to an
kit provided by Crystal Chem however we have doubts about the data as blood from
mice we high fasting glucose do not have elevated HbA1c. For this reason we want
to compare our HbA1C data to that generated by the MMPC core at University of
California Davis.
