Experiment

Circulating insulin levels following glucose gavage in B6 mice
Summary Data Summary
Investigator Haldar, Saptarsi
Description Each wild-type mouse was given glucose at a dosage of 2 g/kg body weight in
sterile saline via oral gavage. Blood samples were taken at time 0 (before
dosage), 10 mins, 15 mins, and 30 mins. This is a test to find out if we can see
the insulin curve from the incretin effect. These mice do not have any sort of
treatment and are pure wild type C57BL/6. We are just looking to get a baseline
of what placebo mice should have before moving on to a full pilot study,
including letrozole mice in the future.
