Experiment

Circulating lipid, glucose, insulin and HbA1c levels in AC5 KO mice fed high fat
diet
Summary Data Summary
Investigator Navedo, Manuel
Description To determine the effects of hyperglycemia on vascular reactivity. Mice were
euthanize by sodium pentobarbita (IP injection) and blood samples collected at
endpoint by punturing the heart. Whole blood samples were collected in EDTA
tubes. For serum samples were allowed to clot (15 mins, room T) spined down, and
the supernatant transfered toa clean tube. Samples were stores at -20 ?. WT and
Adenilyl cyclase mice were fed a high fat or a low fat control for 12 weeks (see
table). Wt and AC5 KO Mice had adlibitum acces to food and water.
