Experiment

Effects of Inulin on high fat diet mediated obesity and metabolic endotoxemia
Summary Data Summary
Investigator Raybould, Helen
Description This experiment examines the effect of inulin (a dietary fiber) on intestinal
and metabolic function. Mice were fed either a custom low or high fat diets
formulated with cellulose with or without inulin (HF (Research Diets #D08091803B
- 45% kcal fat) (Research Diets #D08091803B - 45% kcal fat) or Research Diets
#D12450J (Research Diets #D12450J - 10% kcal fat)) diet for 6 weeks. At
termination, plasma was collected for LBP testing.
