Effect of Monobutyrin on HFD induced metabolic endotoxemia
Summary Data Summary
Investigator Raybould, Helen
Description This experiment examines the effect of the SCFA analog, monobutrin, on the
intestinal and metabolic function. Mice were fed either a custom HF (Research
Diets #D08091803B - 45% kcal fat) or LF (Research Diets #D12450J - 10% kcal fat)
diet and given water with or without 0.25% monobutryin for 6 weeks.
