Experiment

Circulating lipid levels and tumor interstitial fluid lipid levels in B6 mice
implanted with melanoma Part 2
Summary Data Summary
Investigator Kaech, Susan
Description To examine LDL and HDL levels in tissue interstitial fluid. C57BL/6 mice were
implanted with melanoma (B16 or YUMMER). 3 weeks later, mice were sac'ed and
tumor interstitial fluid was collected by centrifugation. Paired serum was also
obtained by retro-orbital bleeding. The hypothesis is that there is differential
enrichment of LDL or HDL in tumor interstitial fluid compared to serum.
