Energy Expenditure Order #1962 6/22/10
Summary Data Summary
Investigator Yu, Liqing
Description A valuable model for studying cholesterol regulation of energy metabolism

Mice lacking NPC1L1 gene have a defect in intestinal cholesterol absorption.
They do not gain weight as their wildtype littermates do on a high fat diet
containing no added cholesterol.
