Experiment

Influence of Myo K64A mutation on glucose tolerance and insulin stimulate AKT
signaling
Summary Data Summary
Investigator Adams, Sean
Description 26 mice (male w/littermate control, 14 WT and 12 Hom). Animals will be placed on
high-fat (HFD) diet at ~6 weeks of age and GTT will be completed at 10 weeks on
diet (age=~15 w). Mice will be terminated after an IP injection of saline or
insulin at 11 weeks on diet (age ~16 weeks), and plasma/tissues collected at 18
weeks of age.
