Experiment

2018-12-03 Elias - Mariana 12 Mice 4 Day CLAMS Run
Summary Data Summary
Investigator Rosolen Tavares, Mariana
Description It was recently demonstrated that AgRP neuropeptide are the first leptin target
to control energy balance and glucose homeostasis. Mutant Agrptm1(cre)Lowl mice
have IRES-Cre inserted in exon 3 of the agouti-related protein, Agrp. Cre
recombinase expression is observed in agouti-related
protein secreting neurons. Mice were subjected to a 4 day CLAMS run in which
their
Metabolic rates were tested continuously, food intake, respiration, etc were
measured indirectly.
