Experiment

Metabolic measurements in B6 mice fed high fat diet and treated with fruit
extracts
Summary Data Summary
Investigator Shengkan, Jin
Description 5 week old male C57BL/6J mice were treated with high fat diet(HFD) or HFD plus
0.25% fruit extracts, or HFD plus 0.5% fruit extracts for 15 weeks. After 5 hour
fasting, mice were anesthetized with ketamine and xylazine to draw blood from
heart with heparin-coated tube. Plasma was obtained by centrifugation at 1000g
for 10-15min at 4? , and stored at -80? for further analysis.
