Experiment

Effect of Ryr on running bouts
Summary Data Summary
Investigator Pessah, Isaac
Description Mutations in Either type 1 receptor (RyR1) or the dihydropyridine
receptorsubunit Cav1.1 cause malignant hyperthermia susceptiblity (MHS) in
humans and animals. It is necessary to understand how altered RyR1 channel
regulation influences baal changes in mitochondrial bioenergetics, produces
oxidative stress and promotes progressive muscle change.
