Experiment

Cobas Order # 2375
Summary Data Summary
Investigator Aguirre, Vincent
Description By gaining a better understanding of the effects of gastric bypass on obesity
and diabetes, we hope to develop therapies that are less-invasive but equally
efficacious. Study of these animals aides us in better understanding why humans
with MC4R deficiency (mutations) may respond differently to gastric bypass.

Applicable research area(s): Diabetes, Obesity, Metabolism, Digestive
